Good evening,
I am wondering if there is a Snake on these boards. I came on here earlier today to ask for help with my new store that I opened on Sat. Within a couple of hours of my posting I had all of the following Auctions removed from E-Bay for the listed reason.

The listing was removed because it violated the eBay Search and Browse Manipulation policy. The violation occurred when you included the following information in your listing:

Please view my other auctions I have numerous PSA cards listed now. If you don't see it listed now, I will have hundreds listed over the next few weeks, including numerous PSA and SGC grded cards.



We notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

Sellers are not permitted to include any information that does not describe or is not directly relevant to the item being sold within a listing. Any information included within a listing that may misrepresent the terms of sale is also not permitted.

The above auctions were in both my regular auctions and in my Store listings. Any verbage that they say they removed my listings for is the same Template verbage I have been using in all of my listings for years!!! 1000's of Listings all exactly the same. They have just removed over $100 dollars in listing Fees and expect me to take a sentence out and pay to Re-List them. Did somebody here tip them off????
I am so pissed off I don't what to do. And 50 of these auctions were ending within an hour of their removal and they took away $100's of dollars in bids and "almost sold" items from me there as well.
Please advise on any or all of my recourses, although since it is Fee-Bay I am sure I am basically just screwed!!!

    I don't see how putting it in your listing to check other items is KWS. I would be contacting Ebay about that.

    that sucks.. some nerd with nothing better to do i guess..

    the worst part is they totally delete the items, you cant even relist them without doing all the work over again..

    A bunch of my listings got pulled once for the same thing. Now I just end my listings with something unspecific like - Be sure to check my other auctions for more great items.

    No one reported your listings. eBay has software that crawls listings looking for specific wording. You must have triggered a flag somehow. That being said, I don't know why you can't mention you have other auctions running as I have done so in the past without any problems.

    It looks like the cards you listed were raw. You used "PSA" and "SGC" in your listing and ebay probably considers that keyword spamming.

    Not sure of the snake? Occasional rats? Yes.

    Sorry to hear about his - and anything's possible including the supposition that the rat was just plain ole ebay?

    A recommendation? Even tho you're upset - I would edit off the f'ing allusion to the real word - it's also potentially grounds for removal without notice from this forum. That I "do" know something about - the other? Like I said - anything's possible.

    Good luck with the relistings - also - I agree - I would call a real person and ask for help in your listings - ebay's a business - I'm sure they want to remain in business by being helpful - if not? Then ya got a good case.

    If Ebay admits they made a mistake they can reinstate the auctions. They do not totally delete them for a while. Getting them to admit the error is another issue.

    Most likely someone did report you. Ebay does have some programs that search for stuff like that they still rely on users reporting problem listings

    Holy Cripes!

    Looks like somebody HERE may have picked-up on my comment about Duty's violations.
    (I guess I should have put that heads-up in a PM; sorry, I was attempting to help not harm.)

    In the morning, call your PS-Rep and beg for her help. She can fix it, if she will. Some refunds
    and removal of the "policy violation notice" is about the best possibe outcome.

    Post-poofing relists usually do just fine; all you lose is the time.

    Anybody here who, for sport, would report somebody who is asking for assistance is a steaming pile.

    This happens OFTEN on the EBAY boards where the TOTALLY psychotic-sociopaths hangout.

    I suspect no one complained to ebay. I saw this on another board and realized that this is what happened to you.
    ANOTHER RULE CHANGE FROM EBAY JUST WENT INTO EFFECT.

    Good morning all,
    I of course will be in contact with E-Bay this morning at some point in time and will let you know what the outcome is. As Storm said the coincidence is just too much for me. I have had the same verbage in my listings for 5 years now and within hours of my posting here and his letting me know about the violations, Poof, Hmmmmm!!!
    The most irritating thing is the Hundreds of dollars in sales that they took from me stopping my stuff one hour before the end of the Auctions. It's almost like they did that part on purpose.

    I still do not see how the phrase you used would be considered KWS. Ebay allows sellers to post general references about their stores as well as store links in their listings, maybe it is how you worded it.

    That said looking at your closed listings I am suprised they were not pulled either due to you saying you accept cash as a form of payment.
