In order to deal with the air pollution problem, and they would not work anyway in keeping out the pollutants according to an
expert I saw on TV tonight.
There is not much that Beijing can do to keep out the air pollution since a lot of it is generated hundreds of miles to the south of the
city and just blows in.
Long distant runners especially are in a potentially serious situation in breathing the polluted air in their event over a long
period of time.

<< <i>I'm sure they'll be just a shadow of the epic Games staged by Atlanta. >>
I wasn't really aware of the world back then (I was 5), so could you elaborate a little more? I know about the bombings, but what else went wrong?
Venues not finished in time, poor turnout for many events and a constant fear of terrorism because it was located so close
