How long would you wait until reporting item not received

Won a BIN on the Bay.

Won and Paid on 7/21. Nothing as of last Thursday and I enquired about the status of the card.

All I could get out of seller is...."It was sent". Nothing else.

I start looking at his feedback and see an item was received in Australia, and feedback left, on 8/1. Persons auction ended the same day is mine.

I sent another message to seller on Saturday asking him when the item was shipped. Have had no response.

Nothing yet again today. Seller isn't responding. When do I drop the hammer?

it depends on how the seller responds to my email...i always email them first.
I usually wait about 2 weeks, then send an email..if no response to email in 2days i file
If they do email, it depends on what they say...

The way the USPS has been dragging lately I would probaly wait a few more days you have 45 days. The USPS does not consider it late or lost for 21 days after shipping.

I have had 3 or 4 packages recently take over 20 days to be delivered including on priority package that was going from here to Dallas 145 miles.

I've had mail from Canada take close to three weeks. Never expect it fast if it's coming from Canada.

yep it is usually about a month from there for me.

So i sent the seller another e-mail explaining thet I realize that mail from Canada sometimes takes longer but I would like to know when he sent it.

If I don't have a reply before I crash tomorrow night I will file on Thursday. All I am asking is for 1 minute of his time. I'm sure that's not too much to ask for is it?

Buyer e-mails me and tells me he sent it on 7/26, after I paid on 7/21. This pisses me off because I mail the next day if I receive payment beofre 8PM. I can't sxpect people to do things the same way but 5 days? Oh well.

Then I see this little tidbit in the listing:

Bubble envelope available for an extra 1.50$.Please make a note with payment.

I can't wait to see how this is delivered.

I will give him until Saturday to receive before I file

Check the postmark on the package when you receive it. I wouldn't be suprised if it was after 7/26.
