Question...........

Which music star do you remember performing the anthem at a baseball game, and who would you like to see sing the national anthem.

I remember Geddy Lee from Rush doing the national anthem at the All Star game in Baltimore.
I would love to hear Chrissy Hynde from the Pretenders (who I believe is from Akron,OH) do the anthem.

I think Madonna did the anthem, and who could forget when (although not a music star) Roseanne did it.

I do not remember if it was at a baseball game (it might have been football), but one of my favorites was Whitney Houston performing the national anthem in the early 1990s.

Man what a voice she had. Just amazing and with such power behind it. When she was in full volume it was a joy to hear.

Too bad she could not stay away from drugs. She destroyed herself and her God given talents with drugs. What a sad, sad end to a wonderful talent.

That was the 1991 Super Bowl (during the first Gulf War)...Best rendition I've ever heard!!!!!

I remember Jefferey Osborne do a magnificent version several years ago, but I don't even remember what sport it was for. I do remember him singing it though, and it was magnificent.
