Need quick help with Mexican and Canadian values

I picked up a large collection of primarily US coins but with it came a number of Canadian mint sets (65-67), Canadian Unc dollars (63-67) and Mexican Pesos (63-66). The Mexican Pesos are all uncs that were stored in small brown envelops and many have attractive toning. Anything beyond silver in value?

IMHO, the toned pesos would probably bring up to $10.00/each if nicely toned...maybe a little more. There's not a whole lot of silver in the pesos, so melt isn't much. The Canadian stuff will be close to melt unless there's some whopper coins in the group.

Are there Canadian dollars other than those in the mint sets?

  • Canadian circulation strikes in higher uncirculated grades are worth real money.
