    That's good.

Not sure why they let you off the hook on the DC.

MANY amateur chargeback fraudsters back-down when
the CC company questions them harshly.

The husband of one of my biznez-neighbors works for
Loss-Prevention at Discover. She says lots of scamsters
confess and apologize when the questions get tough
and relentless. Depending on the amount and the profile
of the customer, CBs are not a slam-dunk.

LP and security look at the claimant's current credit report
when they are investigating the CBs. Repeated CBs are
    also red-flags.

They may have let me off the hook on the DC because he went straight to the CC and not through Paypal

I love how Paypal also charges a $10.00 fee. I lost a $9.00 item, they took the money back and charged me a $10.00 fee for a fradulant use chargeback. I did not have a D/C, so I lost. I do not see what a D/C has to do with fradulant use, the buyer left me positive feedback. There was no dispute that they received the item at their confirmed address. Crazy.

The DC is very important when a buyer claims fraudlent use. It can prove the item was shipped and delivered to the zip code of the cardholder. If it is truly a fraudlent use there is a good chance the item will not be to the same zip code.

In my case the buyer apparently created a couple of IDs on Ebay bought hundreds of dollars worth of stuff then claimed fraudlent use of his CC without going through Paypal.

If you have DC that shows delivered to the zip code provided and it is confirmed then even if Paypal loses the chargeback you are NOT suppoused to be held responsible for it. They may take the money and charge you the 10.00 they are charged but if you call them on it they will refund you.
