Just when I thought I had seen it all on eBay

I actually saw I guy on the East coast saying he charges $1 more to ship to CA. HI, AK, WA and OR. Anybody ever seen that before?

  • If he ships priority and the items weigh over a pound the cost difference can be staggering.

A box weighing 1.5 lbs from savannah to Atlanta costs 5.05 Priority and 4.85 Parcel

Same package going to Beverly Hills costs 8.25 priority and 6.67 parcel.

If the box is bigger than 12x12x12 then the pice really becomes staggering

If the box is 13X13X13 priority goes to 30.00 to California and 5.05 to Atlanta from Savannah

If it has any weight to it, he needs to.

I have a seller trying to charge me $34 to ship 59 raw cards first class that I bought from him, and the cards totaled $35.
  • It was for a single card auction.
  • He was charging $3.99 for the single card. Plus the extra $1 if you are on the West coast. At least he does state it in the auction.
  • Is he shipping via UPS?
  • no. USPS.

You are correct, that may be a first....pretty sure it is the same rate for light weight padded envelopes regardless of destination.
