Fox News in Chicago has the same story, but no word if Griffey has acepted deal and for whom...
I collect Seattle Pilots autographs, 1969 Topps autographs, Signed Mickey Mantle Home Run History cards and have a JC Martin collection (he was my college Baseball coach)

    Report: Griffey to White Sox
The Reds and White Sox have agreed to a deal that would send Ken Griffey Jr. to Chicago, according to a published report.

The deal is said to be awaiting Griffey's approval. I'am a Cubs fan but would love to have him in Chicago.

Hmmm...kinda hard to imagine Jr. in a ChiSox uniform, however I am happy for him because he needed a change of scenery. Also, this is probably his best chance since '95 to win a World Series.

Lame. Shoulda went to the Twins JR. The Piranhas need another bug stick to DH. I guess this means Konerko will be released?
    Am I speaking Chinese?

    Red's get 2 no names.

Ya, no kidding! and one of the two nobodies is a 2nd baseman... I'm pretty sure that spot is WELL covered in Phillips.
Must be a salary cap thing... oh well.

Yet another difficult day being a Reds fan.

ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

honestly, Griffey is at the tail end of his career; his numbers are sub standard at best; perhaps new scenery and some DH time will rejuvenate him. Plus it would be great to see him in the playoffs and have a shot at the World Series.
