The Mercenary Mets don't want to be in first place. They're happier in second place - then they get to go home after the regular season.

Yea, and Rome beat Greece in the Olympics 2,000 years ago - I'm not gonna live in the past...the present is all that matters to me and the Phillies are in first place and the Red Sox ain't. Ha! Ha!

Some Red Sox fans here keep mentioning the Phillies, and that's okay, but when a "reply" comes from another Phillies fan, then there shouldn't be any surprise. Actually I couldn't care less that much about the junior circuit American League until World Series time...then I'll focus on which AL team the Phillies will beat.

LOL this is funny..Red Sox fan quoting me 1918 rings...ahhh ok. Bucs have been around since 76....took them 24 years to get a ring...how many did the pats
    have after 24 years...answer:

    NONE

Red Sox have two in the modern era, Phillies have one...not quite an argument there!

what you perhaps looked the most stupid on what the hockey comparison....Tampa Bay has one more Stanley Cup than Boston in my lifetime..LMAO

well I got my ancient history lesson for the week!

Really? Philadelphia Phillies began in 1884 and they have one championship……nice try.

    Red Sox …..Once again
    1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918, 2004, 2007

    Philadelphia Phillies……from 1884
    1980….long time?

Hockey?.....no comment, covered in previous message.
