The 1882-O is certainly a "better date" in MS65, but that is not what is being sold.

"1886 MS65 PCGS Silver Morgan Dollar
Better Date
Up for sale ia a beautiful 1896 PCGS MS65 Morgan Silver Dollar. This is a better date for the Morgans especially in the O and MS65 condition."
Apparently, everything is better with an "O" condition and "MS65".
1886? 1896?
Wasteland.
Perhaps "better date" applies to anything that is not 1921?
<< <i>When it comes to eBay, "better date" translates to semi-semi-key date. >>
The 1882-S is a "better date" only in the fact that is is the most "scarce" of the first five S minted Morgans. It is still very common.
and 65. They also probably used the same text for all the auctions.
So what i mean is, is that the 1882S has the quality of being graded
65 but obviously it is not an O.
i bet they also recently sold or are selling an O morgan which would
make sense based on their text of the auction.
