Numismatic Photography by Mark Goodman 2008, p 121 regarding Color
"Color is easily overdone with contrast or saturation adjustments. Other than white balance issues, resist the temptation to tinker with color, as these adjustments can easily go too far. You just need to keep in mind what the coin looks like in hand and keep adjustments to a minimum. Otherwise, you will quickly have an unnatural looking image."
The vast majority of coins on that site appear NT, although the pics obviously look like they've had the brightness turned up. I think that many here don't know the difference (NT vs AT)...and that's fine, but it's pretty lame starting a thread bashing someone's stuff when the vast majority of it looks legit.

Come on -- almost every image on that website is juiced. The coins are NT, but they are being misrepresented.
Here is a good one:
Oh yeah, I forgot the standard excuse applies -- "I do not juice up all my pictures, but it seemed necessary with this coin to portray what it really looks like." Yeah, that's what the coin really looks like.

Capitalizing on a trend. Some folks are probably very happy that a business focused on this exists.
Will Ricko post in this thread?
I'm waiting for them to produce some toned Platinum.
[edit] Oh yeah, it's probably 100+, isn't it?
You do know that's a forum member here? Ah, well. Who said that everything must be happy 'glowing' talk?

I think so as well. That image with the chameleon on the homepage looks familiar.

Glad Mr. Goodman mentioned contrast too. Many folks do not realize what that does to color.
I hope to get this book soon!

Now that's a gentle way to put it.
Who is the pro?
Pics are juiced, but the coins look real
