Best registry sets to visit

Anyone really like a certain registry set?

Great Pics or amazing set ect.
Great Background pics or funny counters...

List them here....and we can go visit them!

That's a very good question. Aside from the obvious, such as Mr. Blay's sets which are earth-shattering, a set I think is tremendously impressive is here. Yeah, I know "modern crap" and all that, but nonetheless I think putting that set together is a feat. And the fact that there are pictures for all but the 2008 coins is just frosting on the cake. I wish this set's owner would post here on the boards.

That set and many others belong to Dr Larry Brown.
He does post on the forums under the name, "casa brown".
I have bought MS clad dimes from, and sold the same to him on this and the BST forums.

VERY nice!
I really like the Trueview with the "Overland Trail Collection" background.

My own sets have lots of Trueview & EdgeView Shots on the Weak, partial and Missing Edge Lettering Coins. Since, most when holdered the error cannot be seen.
Yes, some boring pres dollars sets to some but it was quite a drama packed modern year.

I like to visit sets that are fully imaged, and have lots of informative descriptions as well. I have tried to keep my own sets up to that standard, so that people would enjoy browsing through them, in much the same way as I enjoy looking at the coins themselves. For anyone who likes Morgans, take a look at my toned Morgan set - lots of nice pics. There are lots more pretty ones in my Duplicates set.

I encourage everyone to have their sets imaged - it makes all the difference !!

Loved your Toned Morgans! Imaging is an expense that I believe is worth it. You can enjoy those beauties even when they are tucked away in the safe deposit box! And a great way to share your collection as well.

thank you for the comment on my pres proof set jim!! however, i am still in awe of your sets. you did an excellent job, and to answer your question, your sets are my favorites. in regard to the poster that mentioned "california's" sets, i agree, why wont he let anyone see his sets? it is not like anyone can beat him...
also, jim, when are the 08 SF pres coins coming out?

Thanks... The Presidential sets grew so fast, I really never expected that I would have to collect so many different varieties. It really is a mind blower! Just wait...We will have company when the 2009 Sac Dollars come out with edge lettering as well.

The 2008 Uncirculated (Satin Finish) Sets went on sale July 30th !!, So the answer is soon. Many are already in at PCGS for grading....

i cant wait for the SFs to come out! as for the SACs, i simply cant afford to do both. i am going to try and stay on top of the proofs and in the top 5 of as many pres. sets as i can afford to do. (now that 3 kids and wife are waiting for me to come home everyday, it is hard to save money) -- i can not believe how expensive kids are!!! but the wife makes them look cheap. have you heard of the signatures yet? more coins to buy, more coins...luckily, i got all mine now. now, i am going to go for the SFs before i go for the high jacksons. i wont have internet til monday b/c it was something to get rid of to save money. so, i can only converse during the work week. hope your weekend is better than mine will be...
