ebay question?

If you start at auction at $100 is that the same as having a $100 reserve on a 99 cent starting auction?
ie are the cahrges for the auction the same?

Start @ $0.99 with a $100 Reserve = $0.15 + $2.00 = $2.15
Start @ $100 with no reserve = $2.00
So, there is not much difference in the fees, but there is a difference.
Starting at $0.99 could generate excitement and up the bidding. Or not.

<< <i>Though I can not seem to find a link that says so, I believe that the fee for a reserve is refunded if the auction meets the reserve. >>
From your link above:
Insertion Fees and optional feature fees are charged at the time of listing and are non-refundable.
Found it. It's for the Final Value fee, not the insertion fee.
