I found this on the bay today. Not sure if anyone has seen this before....

Edited to say that I dont see the S, but it would be kewl if this were the real thing....!

    uhmmmm ANACS if its even though of being real.
    Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

    I would say that his metal was a bit too hot when he poured into the die. Those
    casting bubbles are UGLY! Should have farmed it out to the Chinese.

    That would be a good candidate for the PCGS "Geniune" service! image

    Even if it were authentic, who would want it at that price, or any price?

    And it only takes a half mil to take a chance. Are you feeling lucky?

    My take on it...... I do not think it is fire damage, although I have no expertise in this area. I would think if it got hot enough to melt enough to form those bubbles in a fire (along with some of them collapsing), the coin itself would have melted and would have been out of shape. The one pictured appears to be nicely round yet. Seems odd.

    More likely, a learning attempt at making a cast copy.

    But, who knows?

    On the surface it appears he's drumming up traffic for his 2 tables at the ANA using Ebay as free ( well relatively cheap ) advertising .. it might work but I don't think overall it will have the desired effect... and I would have serious reservations about buying uncertified coins from this seller.. jmho
    If you can't swim you better stay in the boat.......
