I went to the Westford MA coin show Sunday.

I know it isn't as big or exciting as the Baltimore show but it is one of the few shows in my area.
This show seemed much better than my other trips there.
It may just be I am more comfortable going to shows.
Everyone seemed to be more talkative and friendly than usual.
I saw a lot of coins trading hands much more than I normally see.
I sold a 2007 gold Eagle for a fair price and bought a
couple of items.
I picked up a 1943 10C PCGS MS65FB for a friend who
who is doing a birth year set.
While waiting for a chance to talk with a dealer
(the one who bought my Eagle) I was looking through his proof sets
and found an AH kennedy set, which I bought.
For the first time I can actually say I enjoyed myself.

Sorry for the poor scans. Some day I will try a camera but really know zero about them.

I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
<< <i>Hi Joe good job. How did you do on 08/07 ASE. HAD A blast in Niagara Falls. Never went to Westford show the boston show is a good time. >>
I am glad you enjoyed Nagara Falls. The 08/07 ASE's have been good to me. The ones I bought from you came back 69's The Westford show is much bigger than Dedham and worth the trip.

Good report, and nice proof set, pics OK too. The show's run by a dealer I know (Ernie Botte). Don't agree often with his grading, but he's a good guy. He's running a show in Manchester (NH) over the Columbus Day weekend that should be as big as Aleo's Boston show (120 dealers, maybe). I hope to go to both (wife permitting, that is).

Which show in Niagara Falls? Do you mean the one that was in April? If so, please be aware that the show is being moved to a new venue for April 2009.

I spoke with Ernie for a few minutes, he was busy. He had a customer lookig for a 2008 Spouse set and I had the Jefferson one with me. Almost got a match.
I will have to see about the Manchester show. I live near the RI line so it is a good 1-1/2 hours.
