Does anyone have a picture of the 1990 UD Mike Witt error?

I've never seen one. Ever.

no, but I certainly do think 1990 Upper Deck is one of the finest massively overproduced sets of all time. I think the riplen card is great that year, and I love the griffey.

I think it's amazing that everyone knows this error exists, and NO ONE I know has EVER seen one.

    WTH??

  • Mike Witt can be found with #702 back, usually with a large black rectangle covering the back.

I have seen one on ebay a few years back but dont have a pic. I think you asked before a few years back and I tried to get a pic from my buddy who I thought had one but dont remember getting anywhere with it. I'll try again for ya.

Thanks bro. To my knowledge, that's got to be the hardest error card to find that I've ever seen. I've never seen one even once in 18 years.

I'll make sure I wont accidentally erase this pic like I did the last.

For those of us for whom this doesn't really fit our collecting goals or focus, yeah, $500 is a lot.

However, I could imagine others saying "damn, I'd love to get that for $500..."

I mean, I'm the guy that paid crazy money for a 1990 Donruss card two weeks ago.

  • I think it's more in the $125-150 range. Wow, this is what we call reverse bidding.
  • Last one sold that I'm aware of was on ebay around 2005 and sold for somewhere between $500 and $700. BUT Olbermann was bidding on that one...

Yeah, it is a shame that PSA doesn't really have the zeal to really organize their errors and variations properly.

so which one of you guys is -- 9***9 ???

Card sold for 610. Now I really want one.

I used to work with this dealer that had one and he swears he still has it somewhere in his collection. He said if he has it , it is mine.

He said it is mine for 330 bucks. Anytime you get someone that swears they stilll have a card, you know they are never going to find it., lol.
