ANA day 3 & 4

Yesterday I did more lot viewing at Stack's. It was great to see so many uncertified Hard Times Tokens. Just like the old days (five years ago). There was some really interesting pieces there and I place some more bids. The patterns are really neat and I'll have to sit in on them.
I went back to the Timonium show and now even with free admission, the traffic was very light. There were about 30 out of 50 tables vacant. Many were dealers who booked both shows and only set up at Towson. I made a few good buys from some copper specialists, but I didn't feel like it would have been worth it to set up, so I just checked my bags and walked the floor.......
About 10 minutes later I was done and left the show. Got some things at B&M and caught the Orioles game. 6th row just behind Home Plate. Great game, LA won. 11-6.
Oh, I forgot day 4:
Today I collected my winnings from B&M, put bids in at Stack's and put my coins in security with PPI. My Office Manager, Karin and her friend were spending the day riding the water taxi to Fells Point and Ft. McHenery. A large thunderstorm caught them on the way back to Fells Pt. from the fort. One huge wave crashed over the bow, making both of them soaked to the skin. The rain was intense out there too. They made it in to port, but not after a really wild ride.
I picked them up and brought them back to the B&B we are staying at. Then with dry clothes, we all went to DC and I gave them a driving tour of the city. Had dinner in Georgetown. The weather was great after the storm cleared out.

Tuesday is "PNG day" when you can get in with an invitation from a PNG dealer (which Julian has made available in a separate thread). Wednesday is the "official" first day.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

BTW, If you go to the show stop by and say HI to Karin, my Office Manager. She may even give you one of her cookies! This is her first trip out East.
Just an FYI, but us Westerners say "going back East" or "going out West", not "going out East"!
