Forget Abe Lincoln, I want the wooly mammoth!

Not really, I probably would rather have the Lincoln. I literally laughed out loud when I saw this!

He posted on the A&G thread Shane. I actually really did want this card but not for the price it goes for.

Pretty neat card, did not think it would be going for that much!

Cool card, but if you were dead set on owning Wooly Mammoth hair I did a google search and it can be found for significantly cheaper.

Anyway the universe is only 5,000 or so years old so I doubt the authenticity of this hair!

    I would have to agree.

I agree with you on the age of the earth. Actually, I think about 6,000. You and I are probably the only ones here that think that.

Can't wait to see what the other card companies come out with to compete....

How about an authentic piece of a callus off Moses' foot after wandering the desert for 40 years.

    Or?????

I just wanted to keep the thread going with this one....

The generally accepted age for the Earth and the rest of the solar system is about 4.55 billion years (plus or minus about 1%). This value is derived from several different lines of evidence.

Religiously speaking i too feel the Earth is 6000 years old, however science says otherwise.

    Steve
    Good for you.

And if this these 10 hairs sell for $3000, what will the other 20 pounds of hair sell for? I guess they can just sell 10 strands at a time on the next million 1/1's...

That is pretty cool but I think they would have done better to have a 2008 Allen & Ginter CAVEMAN DNA NAD Relic

    Now that would be cool.

The Mammoth card is quite possibly the coolest card in that set.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.
