ESPN is reporting here that in a declaration submitted to the Court by Howard Schultz, David Stern "told [Schultz] he wanted 'to hear it from the horse's mouth' why I was not joining in the city's settlement and dismissing my lawsuit" and "that if [Schultz] did not join in the settlement ... [Schultz] should realize that it will become very expensive for [Schultz] and [his] partners, and [Stern] implied that [Schultz] should reconsider [his] position."
Interesting. Wonder who will win in battle of [corporate] titans. Personally, I hope Stern loses, but I suspect his will not.
