She was in Stockton tonight, on CBS. Her opponent had her in a toe-hold for about a minute, but she escaped.
I think her jaw is made of lead. She took several kicks to the face, before she KOd the other gal.
Most of these chicks look tender - like I could one-punch 'em to the promised land - but when they start unloading I realize I would need a bat; with a pistola for backup.
Great looking stomachs on all of them.

Lmao , are those the same hands as the woman selling her cheating husbands cards ?
She's got pretty nice sized forearms .
Agreed she has a tough looking jaw
You would have to punch her dead in her solar plexus to stop her, although getting to that area with that rack in most of the way might be a tough shot.
Someone call up Joey Buttafucco, I'd like to see her light him up
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LOL, probably not with thy hands
Then again we might have some bruisers here on the forum, I remember one guy that used to like to lift cars or something like that , forgot the name of the fella .
The only thing is those inatimate objects do not hit back unless controlled by a human.
I used to box back in my highschool days at the Rec Center over in Brentwood Long Island, Buddy Mcgirt used to come in and show us a few things every now and then .
This ultimate fighting thing is just way off the charts for me , I have no problem getting in the ring Boxing, I still get down to the Rec center for a few rounds just for the fun of it whenever I get the itch to get my head slapped around but when it comes to the addition of Wrestling , kicking and basically street fighting , I have no enjoyment in that sport .
That is not to say it is morally wrong or anything like that , I just for me , that's just basically street fighting in a ring, if someone came at me like that I would look to stop it right away by snapping their leg or something .
To each his own though a lot of people do seem to enjoy it , especially the ones who are not in the ring

I must agree.
Boxing has always been my second-favorite spectator sport; baseball #1.
In the late 1980s, I got interested in kickboxing. I was friends with Dennis Alexio and some members of his "ring mafia."
Dennis Alexio Statistics Real name Dennis Raymond Alexio Nickname(s) Kaheke Rated at Super heavyweight Nationality US American Birth date March 12, 1959(1959-03-12) Birth place Vacaville, California, U.S. Stance Full Contact Boxing record Total fights 72 Wins 70 Wins by KO 65 Losses 2 Draws 0 No contests 0
When Kaheke retired, I lost interest.
The modern version of "MMA" - seen last night on CBS - leaves me cold on the male-athletes, BUT the chicks rolling on the ground interests me.
Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
From a spectator standpoint, it is understandable why the connection is made.
However, the skill-levels of the fighters are likely the highest in the history of combat sports. They are experts in multiple fields, while most participants in their disciplines ONLY master one field of training.
"Street-Fighting," obviously, lacks restraint. In the current MMA venues, the athletes are EXTREMELY aware that restraint is required if the business is to continue. The last thing they want is to kill or seriously injure an opponent. They attempt to use just enough skill/force to soundly/quickly defeat their adversaries.

"MMA is definitely nothing like a streetfight " --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With all due respect Mr. Pandrews , how is it not ?
The way I see it if you're allowed to hit a guy when he's down on the ground , that is like street fighting where you're basically looking to injure the person so bad they either can't get up or simply refuse to , not to mention arm twisting , leg twisting and all that other good stuff .
So they give you gloves , in street fighting there usually are no kind of gloves
MMA, Mixed martial arts indeed , mixed with what ?
Elbows, knees , I've seen headbutting, you name it they do it .
"MMA, Mixed martial arts indeed , mixed with what ?"
///////////////
Virtually ALL of the "moves" displayed are part of a "martial arts" discipline; elbows, knees, headbutts are all part of "martial arts."
It is about temporarily disabling your opponent.
To me, not nearly as exciting as boxing, but not illegitimate either. Sadly, the whole thing might be just a few "bad outcomes" away from being regulated out of existence. While the players are SUPER aware of using restraint - and the promoters pray they do - a bad televised-accident may be inevitable.

i understand how it seems that way, and by definition, it should be..
but a streetfight can involve multiple attackers (a bar fight usually does), weapons, bottles to the head, bites, kicks to the balls, etc..
in a streetfight, the best scenario is NOT to end up on the ground, regardless of skill on the ground..
and of course there is no referee in a streetfight..
and unfortunately you havent seen a legal headbutt in legit MMA for years..
I guess it's all what is entertaining to an individual, I have to admit when I first started seein it on TV I was like yea , some serious a$$ whoopin , but then I was like man , this as almost like no holds barred and the sport of it was kinda strange to me .
I know it is a sport and you can't only be just tough or just big to win .
I suppose I look at it at how the match would have played out if they were only using fists .
Headbutts, in general, can make for enough blood to stop the fight without producing a dominant/winning contestant. Lots of foreign MA disciplines - which are venued in public - allow headbutts; some require contestants to wear "helmets."
Of course, elbows can produce ALOT of blood, too. For MMA to work profitably, it needs to be at least semi-bloodless on television.
I'm not exactly sure how to process a headbutt , should I be looking at that as a sign of strength and smarts , or cowardice looking for a cheap way out of a fight if it works ?
Lol in a street fight if it has to be used it has to be used , sometimes that is all you might have to work with .
"...I suppose I look at it at how the match would have played out if they were only using fists ..."
/////////////////////////////////////////
Yup. Watching it takes some getting used to.
However.......
The "natural" human-defense response is to use legs/feet.
As a boxing ute, I had a heckuva time learning to control my legs.
MANY exceptionally talented boxers NEVER make it up the ladder because they cannot lose the instinct to "kick." Every now and then, in an undercard, you will see somebody kick the fool out of his opponent. Those guys get washed out fast.
Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
I say in a street fight any move is legal because they are all illegal and you fight for your life at times , most people do not stop a fight just because the other guy went down .
Most fighters have at least some background in ju jitsu these days, and that is a very hard thing to master. I doubt even a boxer can say that boxing is more technical than ju jitsu. Just because the fights sometimes end before the skills can be put to use does not mean the skill is not there. Watch some fights of anderson silva and you will quickly see that it is more than a steetfight.
