What is the label size for shipping thru paypal

I ship my coins out in a 4x6 bubble mailer. I see on avery.com it's labels for paypal are 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Can you print thru paypal on a label that will fit on a 4x 6 bubble mailer?

I usually just cut it down as much as possible on my own and tape it around the edges.

I wouldn't try to shrink it as it might screw up the barcode scanning capabilities...
  • As far as I know, the 8 1/2 inch are the only ones that work. I mail in 6x9 envelopes and print the labels with a Brother P-touch printer. It works quite well.

I print them on 8 1/2 by 11 paper the label is 1/2 of the page I use the other half as my tracking form. And use the 2" clear packing tape over the whole label to make it water proof and they can still scan the bar codes that way.
And that is used on the 000 bubble pack mailers and larger.

I just print it at 85 or 90% so it fits.

unknown affect on the ability to scan correctly, maybe within tolerances, maybe not.

Usually works ok with my laser printer, I have also done it with an ink jet. Even if it does not scan they will hand input the numbers. Does not seem to affect delivery time.

That's actually pretty funny. I work in R&D.
  • Just use a bigger box so you can get the label on.
