Trans-Pacific Airmail Covers

In the early 1980s, I was going through a box of covers at a stamp show. I found a group of covers, all addressed to the Pacific Commercial Company in Manila. Each one was franked with more than one of the Clipper stamps from 1935-1937. I don’t know how many were gone, but I purchased the remaining covers, not wanting to separate them further.

Here is my favorite from that group. It is the only commercial cover that I have seen franked with each denomination of the Clipper stamp.

Those are interesting. I like seeing stamps used on cover that are not contrived (i.e. first day, events etc.)
