So who got the better deal? Updated pics

So which buyer got the better deal? Same coin, same grade 2 different companies, $14 difference.

OK I got a chance to take some better photos that represent my coin better now.

OR

Auction #2 PCGS MS62 1907 2.5 Gold liberty $440

Let me know what you think.

They both look decent, but I would have bought the PCGS coin for only $14 more.
  • I like the NGC coin better....the pictures aren't great but it looks to have better surfaces and some original skin left on it. The PCGS coin looks baggie and looks to have been dipped so it's bright and shiny...which I don't like.

Probably the one who got the PCGS coin because they got 25% off from MSFT.

Only way to be sure is to buy both.

    Ding! Ding! Ding!

By the way the coin looks much better in hand. The coin looks much more like the NGC photos. The sald is spotted and scratched, and does not look shiny as the photo.

IMO I like the NGC slabbed better for it's more natural look and the fields on the obverse look smoother to me. I would have easily paid $14 more for the NGC over the PCGS rather than the other way around.

Both pieces are damn nice though.

Because it was you, you know about the deal, and at that time of the day, it was 25% (currently 20% right now though image ). And, it was a BIN which is part of the deal
Of course, you can only do it 3 times per ebay account, max of $250 each time, so you "left money on the table".
But, you were able to get a coin you wanted, I would guess, so it is all good image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Nice NewP. I'm guessing Jerry of Type Coin Company is doing well thanks to Microsoft. I bought 5 from him using the buy it now cashback 20-25%!!!! 3 on my ebay account and 2 using my sister's account. Great seller to work with and the coins are bad either image

My first thought was e-bay got the better deal. Buy it now has higher fees.
