Wanna post some halves; 1794 - 1915.

Started this yesterday and it fell to page 3. No sense wasting a perfectly good start to a halves postin' page. Just finished the six-hole halve section of page 3 in the 7070. It feels good to have completed something. Those coins I purchased in the early days of the 7070 (particularly the 1861 and the Barber) are candidates for future upgrade (I have matured somewhat). But, for now I'm quite pleased. Thought I'd share this with ya'll.

There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt.

I bought an 1812 half for my book, but it was just too large in diameter. Luckily I found a nice looking 1827. I suppose I'll have to start a date set now...

"Keep in mind that most of what passes as numismatic information is no more than tested opinion at best, and marketing blather at worst. However, I try to choose my words carefully, since I know that you guys are always watching." - Joe O'Connor
Richard - I love the look of those '53s. The rays really accent the reverse.
