greetings, Karl. just remember, if nothing changes nothing changes. you have ranted and ranted and ranted and ranted, sometimes changing the direction but never really the theme. i find it rather ironic that you reappear from time to time advising the membership about what strategies they might employ to more enjoy the hobby while displaying such frustration yourself with how they do that. it just gets old.

i would make a reasonable request of you: my impression is that you are a longtime collector who must have a good understanding about a certain area(s) of the Hobby. why not discuss that in some fashion?? why not discuss what you have learned about a specific series?? in short, why not try to educate us with your experience about coins and not about collecting??

i don't pretend to speak for anyone else, but why not help others with coins and not with collecting strategies?? i really think that's what we need as we each develop strategies which suit us.

keets, what's weird is that you are easily 1 of my favorite posters. seriously.

if you think i ain't ever educated about specific coins, w/ specific experiences, you really have'nt been reading my posts over the years. (which is fine, i really do'nt care.)

i admit guilt to not reading your posts from the past several years, but that's primarily due to their infrequency and my work schedule. i also am left with the impression that you got stuck about 3-4 years ago on the plastic rant and it sort of sidetracked you from everything else, eventually leading to your sparse posting. for my own part, i have become less active here and at the same time more critical of the crap that dominates page one while the good stuff falls to the waste bin.
