Hey Seated Experts... 1853 No Arrows Quarter Question...

PCGS now lists two 1853 No Arrows Quarters. Why ?
All the 1853 No Arrows Quarters are already overdates and there was only one pair of dies is my understanding. So why 2 numbers ? Anyone know?

I don't understand. If there was only one set of dies what's to cherry pick?

PCGS has stared listing coins by their Cheerpickers numbers, might be the same coin as before but now listed as the variety. Makes for more holes to fill in some of the sets. At least that is why I think you now have two numbers for possibly the same coin.

They likely added the second designation(with CP reference in mind) to give submitters a choice on insert designation. Some might feel that the latter designation is important.
