Wow the die file lines really stand out in your photo.

    Good luck on the submission.
I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

    Where's the Thorn again??
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Polished off the die...but several other gouges remaining allow it to be ID'd...

This baby has some definate potential...

The die gouge in the cap is still very much there....will reshoot with camera now.

There is a TON of luster in this babe...

I don't know why I open these threads. I never have any idea what you VAMers are talking about. image

Ok, these don't show the luster but are what I generally set my camera spec's in order to pick up details on the surface.

full obv. BTW....if you look to the left field of the face...those "gouges" that were in the sellers pics are actually luster breaks.

If it has big-time lustre, I'm guessing it's going to be an MS63... which would make it a big-time YIPPEE!
    When in doubt, don't.
  • Well Dennis, You got her correct!!

    Sweet!

Congratulations again for a very nice 'pick!
    When in doubt, don't.
  • Thanks again Dennis!

Some ppl don't realize just how difficult it is to find raw thornheads and actually get them to slab. With all the die file lines, I thought that this one would probably have to go 2 or 3 times before getting slabbed.

Don't know why you claim that the "thorn" was polished off the die. I can see the horizontal die gouge through the right hand wheat leaf that lends its appearance to the moniker of the VAM.

  • HUH???

I never claimed that......cmerlo did due to the pic from the seller..you can barely make it out.
