    They're not doing it intentionally. The title is simply the first several dozen charactes of the lot description.

    They have been doing it for the last couple of years.
    It is a glitch in their program and eBay's title line. And yes it gets annoying, but after a while you just dial out all the listings with the little hammer.

    Is that due to an automatic listing program? With the amount of auctions they run on Ebay, that would be understandable.

    It's just that I've seen smaller sellers have their auctions pulled for lesser infractions than that.

    Just don't open the auction link from the search page. This is about ebay search.
