Ron Guidry played centerfield for the Yankees ?

He played there for an inning in one game. I never knew that.

Hi Guys, according to Retrosheet.org , Ron played CF in replacement for Bobbie Murcer on September 29th 1979 against the Blue Jays.

Actually he played CF 2x once in 79 and also once in 83 which was the continuation of the pine tar game.
