Sending High $$$ Cards to PSA

I have a question regarding some higher dollar cards being sent to PSA for grading.

Basically, I was asked by a friend on behalf of his uncle (Yes, it sounds like a scam, but isnt), to send in some cards to PSA for grading. I had already send a 1948 Leaf Warren Spahn for him, which came back as a PSA 4. The card lost a grade or two because of what appears to be discoloration (stain?) on the front. The uncle has now decided that he wants me to send the rest of his older cards in for grading, since he doesnt trust anyone else.

Here's the problem, he basically has the whole set of 1948/1949 Leaf, including all the stars. He wanted me to go ahead and get the Jackie Robinson and the Joe DiMaggio graded before he gives me the rest. And yes, according to him, he DOES have the Satchell Paige. My question is, would you send these cards to PSA through the USPS, or would you wait until you could travel to a show and get them graded on site?
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

I'd send them USPS with no worries... I use Insured Express Mail because it takes 24 hours, which gives it less time to sit around and get lost. Secure the box with tamper-proof paper tape. Registered takes longer, and is a pain (even though PSA asks you to send it this way).

I strongly suggest this way too.

I've sent dozens of high dollar card subs this way and it's worth the extra cost.
