OT:Ebay nonpayer

Since you cant leave negative feedback what can you do if someone doesnt pay for an item? This person is a powerseller.

Thanks

  • If the buyer is a powerseller, he will probably leave the FB alone if you do. Just file the NPB to recoup your FV fees and let it go.

Just file the non paying bidder.

I recently had to for a buyer who has bought $3000 worth of cards (low amount for him) in the past month that never sent payment for a $100 card.

Sure is tempting to bid on one of their auctions and then not pay. But two wrongs dont make a right.

Get your fees back. Put him on your blocked bidder list and let it go.

What if the auction was for a concert ticket and the 7 days before you can file wont expire until after the event? Are you allowed to go ahead and relist the item.

Does the person know he hasn't paid? Has he communicated with you? Since it's concert tickets and timing is crucial how about picking up the phone and calling him to get things figured out. You'll know if the deal is then good or not and can relist if necessary. On something like concert tickets you might want to consider the immediate payment option.

The buyer knows. Right after the auction ended they sent me an email saying "I will be sending payment in a couple of hours" but they also wanted to know more information about the product. I answered them 3 days ago but havent heard back. Seems the person didnt like my answer.
