Receive hold placed on latest quarterly special submission...

I sent in my quarterly special last week for regrade, plus added $10 for a TrueView picture. PCGS received it today and I noticed a "receive hold" on the order. I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly, I even used the correct postage amount stated on PCGS' website even though the form I used was from before the latest postage rate hike (I got the blank forms in March). Is the receive hold because I put the TrueView with it? I haven't gotten an email from PCGS nor have I had a chance to speak with a customer rep. Thanks!

    I think it is because you also asked for TruView. I don't think you can do that.

    Seriously; same think happened with my quarterly last quarter. I don't think it has anything to do with Trueview although I ordered and got one with the special.

    My quarterly special was received by PCGS last week. I ordered a TrueView and the order is posted and everything seems ok. It has posted normaly just like it always does.

    Haven't done my quarterly yet, However I sent a submission that was received June 20th and still saying OK. I think maybe the holiday plus shows may be the extended time................Rick

    PCGS does not do Trueview on already-holdered coins. You sent your coin in already in a holder (thus the regrade request), so I don't believe your coin qualifies for Trueview. A call to CS should help you to verify this information.

    PCGS does offer the Trueview service on regrades because the coin is always removed from the holder.

    FYI, I think it always says that for a brief period when initially input into their system.
