Edit: Okay, maybe not so weird

So I go to look at the 2008 Silver Britannia proof set. The listing showed the price as £115 at first, and when I drilled on to the item's page, it said the same thing. Then when I logged into my account, the price listed changed to £97.87. Well, I went ahead and decided to put that in my cart and place the order. I'm not sure if that price will take, but it does seem odd.

And when I logged out and checked the item again, it was back to £115. Making sure, I logged in again and it showed £97.87 yet again.

[Edit to add: Never mind. I did some math and I assume the £115 assumes a 17.5% VAT in the UK, which would make £97.87 correct for a U.S. customer who isn't charged the VAT. If 17.5% is the rate for UK customers, I guess that covers it.]

+1, I guess... image
