***Official Mint bash-direct frustrations here***

Post the obvious and not so obvious.
I'll start by pointing out that Buffalo-mania is about to start. Many are focusing on the gold Buffalo fractionals. So, is the Mint purposely killing off the AGE's?
I look at the 2008 W quarter ounce Buffalo in a nice wood box and faux leather for $289.95 and then I see the 2008 W quarter ounce AGE housed in plastic for $295.95! Six bucks more for plastic!
This disparity is not consistent when one compares both proof and unc Buffs and AGEs in all denominations.
Who figures out the priceing?
The cliche, does the left hand know what the right hand is doing is applicable here.
