Explain your handle - borrowed from the coin forum

Hey guys,
Why did you all choose your handle/profile name? For example my name is Tony and everyone called my father (who coached at my high school) Coach Vac (our last name is hard to pronounce...Vac is easier) so all my friends call me Tvac, the 897 comes from one of my first yahoo email accounts so I just kept it for most of my logins.
Anyone else?

Edited to add: Of course it's borrowed because there is no way that you could ever produce an original idea.
edit: ah yes, Nick found the other one. I knew it was out there. You spin me right round, Nick.

<< <i>Did you guys read the topic "borrowed from the coin forum" didn't realize someone had posted it on this one already...must resurrect the thread hostility thread...man you guys are tools lol. >>
Yeah, you go ahead & resurrect that long-dead thread from, what, yesterday? Seriously, unlike the BMB, the search function is quite useful here. Didn't take Nick or me too long to find previous threads. Not only would they have been good reading for you, but if you chose to resurrect either, probably would have been good reading for quite a few others.

LOL so instead of arguing with me why didn't you just resurrect it...

Ummm, maybe because I wasn't the one that started another thread of a topic that has been asked & answered twice (with over 100 responses each time) over the past couple years.

So you dislike Nick too, since he started the same "inane" post?

Nah, most of Nick's posts have plenty of substance.

Most is definitely better than none.
Congrats and keep it up.
On a side note, is there a way to just block out all of his wonderful and "useful" posts?

<< <i>I frequent a dozen or so different forums on different subjects. I can safely say that Tvac897 seems to be the most worthless poster out of the tens of thousands of posters on those boards.

Thats kind of ridiculous...i feel like i contribute quite a bit outside of just the "nice cards" etc...I recently posted a full breakdown regarding LSUtiger's recent thread about whether or not to invest in cards, I also posted a thread about a credit card scam going around, I regularly ask about various ebay auctions in the hopes of making a good purchase decision. I didn't realize this thread had already been posted otherwise i would have just read that one. I also participate in most ebay threads that get posted as i have a good amount of experience with Ebay, I also toss out the occasional "post your newest acquisition thread" and I've had alot of positive response to the "What is your favorite item" thread i posted a couple of weeks back...there are a ton of people here that are certainly more knowledgeable about collecting than i am but i don't claim to be an expert...to say that my posts have no value is a gross overstatement that i think you should re-examine.
