Opinions wanted as to authenticity of these Ted Williams autos - Updated image

These Ted Williams autographs were acquired by me in 1983. I did NOT get them signed in person. The 3 cards are reprints, just in case anyone wondered. Are the autos all/some authentic? Are they worth getting PSA/DNA examined?

Thanks!

    please provide a large scan.
  • Even from a mile away, it's pretty obvious that's not the way Ted Williams signed his name. Especially, the "T".

  • Maybe that's his cousin Fred Williams?

They are still forgeries, and not even good ones at that. Sorry, my friend.

They sure have had their share of fake cuts, too.

    Definite fakes...

The "T" and the transition from the "d" to the "W" are dead giveaways!!!

Edited to add: that Legendary Glovemen Cuts autograph is also a fake if you ask me. I have never seen a Williams autograph that looked anything close to that one..."Williauus"???!!! image

Thanks guys - not the answers I was hoping for - but you saved me from a lot of aggravation and cost if I had sent them to PSA/DNA without checking with this group first. I appreciate the responses. If anyone has any thoughts on the DiMaggio autos I posted, I would love to hear them - or see examples of known good autos for him as well.

    Thanks!
