Did I miss NEWS on Aspen Park Rare Coin?

One of my favorite coin sites (Aspen Park Rare Coin) went inventory-less, nothing, zippo.
Hopefully we don't lose them. Does anyone know if this is temporary, site repair or what?

I was on Evan's site the other day and all his inventory was posted, he's just returned from the Schaumberg show and has posted the following...

July 13 - Back from Mid-America Show - Fixing Technical Problems

I have retured from the Mid-American show in Chicago. It's never been a great show and this one lived up to past performance. APRC quality coins were virtually non-existant. I managed to find about a dozen and have listed them below.

Prior to the show, I purchased a new computer and spent three days watching a tech guru set it up and transfer my data from the old to the new. It's incredibly complicated and you may have noticed that several of the descriptions on my web site ended up with the wrong coins. I have temporarily fixed that by uploading the spreadsheet from the old computer, but still need to make a fix on the new computer. I hope to get all these technical problems ironed out this week.

I talked to Evan about a week ago at the MidAmerica show, and he made no mention of liquidating his inventory! This is likely only temporary website maintenance. Aspen Park RCI is still around.

So yes you did miss the news!

All is well no need to panic... as you can get out of your rocking cradle position and crawl out from under the dining room table! image

APRCI will be back up soon with pretty pics, just as I promise the sun will come out tomorrow too... but don't bet your bottom dollar, save it for Evan! image

  • Thank you all. Good to hear Aspen will be back up soon. And MidLife, those are some Mag coins/tokens. I especially enjoyed the 1740 Real and the Mydellton token.

    Thanks NumbersUsacom. image

You should turn on your private message (PM) function in your profile.
  • Looks like their site is busted but a page flashes with a "under construction" message briefly if you go there...looks like they are fixing it but didn't put the "we're fixing it" sign up correctly.

This is a good reason to buy a Mac computer. The software that comes installed in a new Mac allows automatic transfer of everything from the old computer to the new. It takes awhile to make the transfer, but it is foolproof, just hit the button. From then on, the Mac automatically makes timely backups onto an auxiliary hard drive.

Hope Aspen Park RC is up and running soon.

I went to their site and got the same thing.

So, I emailed them and they say everything is ok.

I went back to their site but couldn't bring up the homepage.

I refreshed and up it popped with inventory..

    Who knows.

Never there before either. Just one complaint it is sold take it off the listing. Don't need to know I missed the one I wanted, or go through four pages of listings for only two pages of coins.

I've bought from them before and they are one
of the best to deal with.

They seem to be still having a problem as none
of their inventory is showing up.

Edit: Its up and running as of 1:20 Sunday.

Check out the 1796 Bust Dime in MS 62 that sold...OMG !!!
