I just realized there are two stowns here....

stown must have a meaning....call me stupid, but what is stown? I am guessing a nickname for a city?

Edited to add: I believe the latter may actually be thought of as s-town instead of stown.

I had a friend that lived in Garland Texas, and she referred to it as G-Town often. Maybe it's a Texas thing since stown is from Houston if I recall correctly.
