I haven't sent in loads of SAEs, but when I have, I've always done a quick check first and gotten 25-33%, or so, of MS70.
Either way, it's a harsh lesson.
The $50 isn't bad, unless this is all you will use it for.
The $100 won't be repeated unless you go through an authorized dealer (due to a recent change).
The $145 isn't a complete loss, as long as you sell them.....should get a couple bucks above issue price.
You did forget to add the postage costs though

IMO, unless a 70 is obtained this is simply a losing situation for the small time submitters. Always has been.
At least now, given their new First Strike™ submission policies, I won't have to worry about throwing that money at PCGS anymore.......................
