Hello Just to let every one know MTG Unlimited Set

I'm selling my nearly complete set of Unlimited due to needing some money for a car. The set is beautiful and its hard to part with my Lotus in 10 but it has to go here is the linky.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140250273500&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=004

All the cards were carefully picked among many duplicates along the way so all the cards that have no close up are MINT or very close to it.

Thanks!

  • Nice set you got there....your going to fetch a nice solid price for that set since you have solid feedback and have a graded lotus.

Your credibility is high so your gonna get yourself some nice $$$$ I would guess that lil guy is going to end in the 5,000's

  • Not sure if you could get more by parting it out, since it's not a complete set? Anyway, sorry to see you sell - best of luck!!!

I would be tempted to suggest splitting the graded stuff out from the ungraded and just mention in the auctions your also selling the other cards. Usually its better to try to sell things in more auctions than less as people tend to pay a bit less for big lots than the do for the items individually. (As an example I just picked up a box of 60 Antiquities boosters for $1,600, when they regularly sell for over $30 a pack. Someone is selling them in groups of 5 and is getting ~$150 whereas the last three ones on their own whent for 39, 40 and 49).

Its quite a big purchase to spend ~$1800 on a PSA 10 Lotus and then another ~$3,000 on everything else - you might find two (or more) different buyers with slightly lower budgets might get you a higher price overall.

It depends on how quickly you want to sell it though and how much effort you want to put into preparing all the auction pages for the smaller lots.

If you decide to break if up into smaller pieces let me know, as there are a few raw cards I'm looking for to complete my graded set still. :-)
  • Yeah, what Michael said image

  • Yeah the whole time thing is the biggest factor. I was thinking about breaking it up but then there are a lot of listings and I'd rather just make it all dissapear in one whack.

But yeah this leaves people who can afford the whole group to maybe step up and re sale it after and make that extra 10 15% for themselves.

Best of luck if anyone is bidding!

  • Hey Sphen,

A final sale price of $2850 looks to me like you got fair market value for the Power and Duals, and the rest was a "throw-in". Not too bad - about what I expected. Considering the effort to sell it all seperately, you probably did OK. Hopefully it was enough....

I hope things get better for you and good luck on your future collecting endeavors image
