If they make them some people will just spend them, a few others might actually collect them.

image aboard and enjoy the ride.

Welcome to the forum. I disagree, bring them on. People can be more choosy about what they collect, similar to stamp collecting, and not buy everything that's minted. Themes are fun to collect. As a stamp collector, did the USPS dilute stamp collecting by issuing so many stamps? Sounds like I'm flip-flopping, but the ideas are flowing with the question and I'm putting them out to chew on.

I have tried stamp collecting on a few occasions but I found the sheer volume of stamps to be a turnoff. I used to get great pleasure as a collector being able to create a complete set of each year's coins but now there being so many I am rapidly losing interest. I will still collect cents, nickels, and dimes from circulation until they defile those denominations as well. I stopped collecting the state quarters sometime within the second year of the program. I gave up on the pres dollars as soon as I saw what they looked like in hand.

I really hope that the Congress and the US Mint will come to understand the difference between quantity and quality.

A quarter won't be able to buy anything, they might as well make collectible versions of it.

Way too much...they will be garbage designs like the state quarters - design by committee always produces junk. And a series? Get real... let an artist design the obverse and reverse, and stick with it for twenty years or so... stop the politically correct, incompetent bureaucrat control of designs and let's get back to art this countries citizens can be proud of. Cheers, RickO

I like the idea of the state park quarters, but think its to soon with the statehood/territories comming to an end.
