A cent planchet got in the nickel press. I have a raw 1976 nickel struck on a cent planchet

It's a nickel struck on a cent planchet, somehow the cent blank got mixed inwith the nickels and struck by nickel dies. The asking price of $575 is pretty strong, if it were my coin I would have taken the $300 offer. 1978 is a slightly better date, probably half of the nickels on cent planchets in the market today are dated 1980-P, supposedly an entire tote of cent planchets was misfed and struck as nickels that year. You could probably find a 1980-P with a little searching for around $150-200.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.
