but: 5-12 with a 4.96 ERA ?


doesn't sound good, but that's a heck of alot better than Adam Eaton (or Meyers, for that matter....)

    Blanton will eat innings 6-7 a game and provide decent pitching, maybe an ERA around 4ish?
    Mets need to respond. Johan isnt looking too good....

    Compared to the Harden trade, this looks like a really good deal for the A's.

    Blanton is better then his record right now. His past stats should show it.

    Unless he's damaged goods, he's a innings eater and can easyly be a 12-15 game winner in the NL
