I saw that one on eBay - and passed on it. Staffordshire Leek D&H #10 Unless it is one of the rare edge varieties this one is dead common.

I figured it was not worth the risk that it is corrosion even though I do not have one of these yet. The surfaces just do not look smooth.

I'm hoping that I didn't make a foolish decision. I'm thinking it was nice toning.
I guess I have to wait and see.
I agree it is totally common but was hoping there will be some nice color.
If not I would have spent $40 on a common corroded token
Oh well...... it won't be the first time and it certainly won't be the last time
I took a gamble
