Nice looking 114.
Do you have a closer pic of the Y in LIBERTY?
Shoot okbustchaser a PM about an 1827 as he has like 100 1827's alone and probably has several
die states of the 114.
The wear in the fields of this beauty puts it in the XF40 range max, but a real nice looking coin that I would love to own.

Ben,
I would call yours an XF+. (If enough luster is left then maybe a slab 45) Looks to have been dipped and then retoned but I like it. Question: In later stages the coins show a die rotation. Had it started yet on yours? Even later the dies shifted out of line.
Contrary to John's plug I only have a single 114--a later die stage and not as detailed. It does show the the die rotation and die mis-alignment, though.
OKbustchaser - thanks for the info on the gradual die rotation for this variety. That's a very interesting thing to ponder.
