What are "good" years for gold pandas?

I understand gold pandas from some years (maybe some from the 1980's) carry a premium. What years (and or denominations) carry a premium? Is the premium a little (10%) or a lot?

Thanks,

Bob

1995 is the second rarest as far as I'm aware. I've read that they sell for as much as 100% profit over melt value (or close to it).

After 1982 would be 1983 and 1984. Also check the Panda Collector website for the Panda Paucity index. Even a better value in terms of very low mintages and NOT high premium are the Platinum Pandas and the Coin Show Pandas. image
