1943 Copper set of World coins minted in the U.S.

Hey there... Let me begin by saying that I am new to coin collecting and have never ventured into the dark side.

I read an article in Coin World about how despite the U.S. Mints producing a steel war time cent rather than the normal copper that they did produce copper coins for other countries- Cuba, El Salvador and Guatemala centavos, Fiji penny and Surinam (Netherland Guiana) centsukken. These are supposed to be readily available coins yet in my, admittedly limited, research using only eBay current and recently ended auctions it seems that only the Fiji penny and Cuba centavo are common, at least for 1943.

Is there anything about these coins that I need to know before purchasing? Am I using the correct denomination terminology in my searches? Are there other online places that specialize in selling dark siders?

Thanks for any and all help.
