Unless Pete Rose and Joe Jackson get in, the hall will be forever inadequate. I mean, let's be realistic here, Rose gambled? Wow. I find it hard to believe that this ever impacted the game. Jackson was a scapegoat.

Just my opinion here. I respect the other point of view on this but I respectfully disagree.
  • Yes, i forgot Pete...so i modify my list to

    Pete Rose
    Mark McGwire
    Jim Rice

Blyleven - either way, I am ok

<< <i>Blyleven had the nastiest curve I have ever seen! >>

But I suppose his lack of name recognition as well as the fact he was never the really flashy "I must get all his cards!!" kinda player, right?

  • Belong in the hall-

    Bert Blyleven
    Andre Dawson
    Tim Raines
    Jim Rice

Have no business in the hall-
Mark McGwire (He cheated, other than HR's stats not up to par anyway)
All the other steroid cheaters (it was against the law at that time, just look at what is happening to the guys on the Tour de France that get busted, they go to jail)
