Arizona Tax Credit Copper?

I saw one of these penny-like coins yesterday, Any story to them. Do people collect them?

The ones with a saguaro cactus on it are really cool. They are common (here in Tucson at least) but I have yet to see any that would grade what I would call MS65RD. (very few at MS63RB for that matter)

You might mean the old Arizona tax tokens.

I don't know if they are collected very much but I find them metal detecting and I recently saw a dealer that had a BU roll of them.

I see them in junk boxes for almost nothing.

Not sure what years they were used.
