I don't get this thread

Obviously they collect coins, we collect cards. I just don't see the appeal of stacking my Emmitt cards and taking a pic.

Anybody else get it?

Maybe if they were stacks of like 1 ounce gold coins and some bars of gold and silver or something. I don't really get it, looks like a bunch of cheap junk to me.

Not criticizing what they collect of course. They would look at my cards and say that it's junk to them as well.

I'm just trying to figure out the appeal of the stack.

Actually, the first pic with the stack of cap bust halves is pretty nice. Just from the two you can see, they are decent grade. The nice one is the pic of the early large copper..... those are some sharp looking coins! Some of the others look like crap though! I equate those to having some stacks of nice diamond stars or maybe even some t206's. JMO
